Flexi helps people coordinate calendars, conversations, and group events. These Community Guidelines apply to names, photos, messages, group chats, member nicknames, calendars, availability, events, RSVPs, invitations, reports, and other content or conduct on Flexi.
1. Treat people with respect
Do not use Flexi to harass, bully, intimidate, stalk, threaten, shame, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop. Do not encourage dogpiling or target a person because of a protected characteristic.
Hateful conduct, slurs used to attack people, and dehumanizing or exclusionary content directed at protected groups are not allowed.
2. Keep people safe
Do not post or organize:
- credible threats, incitement to violence, or instructions intended to facilitate harm;
- sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, grooming, or any sexual content involving minors;
- promotion or coordination of self-harm, dangerous challenges, or exploitation of a person in crisis;
- trafficking, illegal weapons sales, or other serious illegal activity; or
- events that deceive participants about material safety risks.
3. Protect privacy and consent
Do not share another person's private or sensitive information without permission. This includes home addresses, private phone numbers, financial or health information, identification documents, private calendars, access codes, and intimate images.
Get appropriate consent before:
- adding people to a group or repeatedly inviting them;
- uploading a group image that identifies others;
- assigning a nickname that could embarrass, mislead, or harass someone;
- sharing another person's detailed schedule or event titles; or
- copying messages, event details, RSVPs, or calendar information outside their intended group.
Use busy/free sharing when detailed calendar titles are not necessary. Remember that group names, pictures, membership, nicknames, RSVPs, and shared-calendar data are service-readable metadata and visible to relevant group members.
4. Be authentic
Do not impersonate another person, create a misleading identity, misrepresent your authority as a moderator or organizer, or use a nickname to conceal which account is speaking. Do not falsely claim an event is endorsed by another person or organization.
Parody or role-play should be clearly identifiable and must still follow these Guidelines.
5. Do not spam, scam, or manipulate
Do not send unsolicited bulk invitations or repetitive messages, run phishing or investment scams, distribute malware, manipulate RSVPs, abuse notification features, evade blocks, or use automated means to scrape or enumerate accounts.
Do not solicit verification codes, passwords, private encryption keys, or payment details through Flexi. Flexi support will never ask for your SMS verification code.
6. Share lawful and appropriate content
Do not use Flexi to distribute content you do not have a right to share. Respect intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, and contractual rights. Do not use group names, photos, event links, or calendar exports to distribute unlawful or deceptive material.
Content that is merely unpopular or part of a good-faith disagreement is not automatically a violation. Context, severity, credible risk, and repeated behavior may affect review.
7. Moderator and organizer responsibilities
Group moderators can manage the group name, permissions, roles, member nicknames, membership, and event-creation access. Moderators and event organizers should:
- use their permissions consistently and for the group's legitimate purpose;
- explain important rules, event changes, and cancellations clearly;
- avoid using roles or nicknames to humiliate, retaliate, or mislead;
- remove detailed calendar sharing when it is no longer needed;
- respond to credible safety concerns promptly; and
- avoid presenting themselves as Flexi staff or as guaranteeing participant safety.
Moderator status does not give access to end-to-end encrypted content outside conversations in which the moderator is a participant.
8. Minors
Flexi does not verify age. Minors should use Flexi only with any parent or guardian permission or supervision required for them. Adults organizing groups that include minors must use extra care with invitations, photos, schedules, locations, direct messages, and event supervision.
Never sexualize, exploit, groom, or solicit sensitive information from a minor. Report suspected child-safety violations promptly and contact appropriate emergency or child-protection authorities when necessary.
9. Reporting and blocking
To report a message, touch and hold it and choose the report option. Open event details to report an event, or group details to report visible group content. You choose whether selected decrypted content is included with a report. Do not include unrelated conversation history or unnecessary personal information.
Blocking can hide an account's messages and notifications from your view, but it does not automatically remove either account from a shared group or hide membership, RSVP, or shared-calendar data. Leave the group, remove your shared calendar, or contact a moderator if additional separation is needed.
Use reporting honestly. Coordinated false reports, fabricated evidence, and repeated misuse of safety tools can themselves violate these Guidelines.
10. Review and enforcement
Flexi may review reports and available service-readable information. Because new Flexi 5.0 message and event content is end-to-end encrypted, the service cannot proactively scan it and can review decrypted content only when a reporting participant explicitly includes it or when it is otherwise lawfully provided.
Depending on the facts and available technical controls, responses may include a warning, removal of service-readable content, limits on features, removal from a group, account restriction or deletion, preservation of safety evidence, or referral to appropriate authorities. A report does not guarantee a particular action or individual response. We may prioritize credible threats and urgent child-safety concerns.
These Guidelines do not replace the rules or safety requirements of an event venue, school, employer, calendar provider, carrier, Apple, Google/Firebase, or local law.
